chicken n chickpea burgers

I got this recipe from my friend, Karen, who highly recommended it. I sort of 'adapted' it a bit to the the ingredients I had on hand. As you do.

Ingredients:  chicken mince, chickpeas, chutney, curry paste, spring onion. (It also needs salt.)
1.  Whack the chicken mince into a bowl  
2.  Drain the chickpeas. Rinse, and mash up a bit with a fork. 
3. Chop and add the spring onions
4.  Add 2 tbsp homemade curry paste
(the recipe said to add 2 tsp curry powder)
5.  Add 2 tbsp homemade Cheeky Chilli Chutney
(the recipe said to add 2 tbsp mango chutney)
6.  Mix it all up
7. Form into burgers (this made 13)
8. Fry em up like this in not much oil
9.  Serve em up with my friendly neighbour's (Sal) fantastic Rhubarb Relish
(the recipe said to use more mango chutney) and garden fresh veg or salad


Chicken n Chickpea Burgers
500g chicken mince
400g tin chick peas
2 spring onions
2 tbsp mango chutney
2 tsp curry powder
